THE CORBET ARMS
The Corbet Arms is a family-run country pub & hotel nestled in the beautiful village of Uffington. It’s a popular venue for private parties and dining out, with spectacular views across the River Severn.
THE CHALLENGE
After their hosting provider was hacked and ultimately shutdown, The Corbet Arms were without a website during a key trading period. StoryThreads were hired in to develop a new site that suitably matched their prestigious brand.
THE PROJECT
Building a website from scratch in just a few weeks is difficult but it is possible. The critical elements for the business was the integration of their booking platform.

Over time though we realised that there simply wasn’t the flexibility in the bespoke CMS to A/B test results to tweak the UX of the site. So we built them a new website using the data we’d developed over the last two years. By analysing Google Analytics for goal conversion, we fine-tuned the visitor’s experience; reducing bounce rate and improving the engagement.
